Our philosophy
The aim of the pediatric dentist is to give to the young patient
the opportunity to have a good experience in the dental office.
Our practice philosophy is based upon three principles:
- Prevention, by a continuing
programme of instruction in dental health tailored to the patient's
age.
- Encouragement for
our patients to readily assume greater responsibility for their
own dental health as they become more mature, without constant
reminders from parents.
- We aim for the highest
possible standard of clinical expertise.
What happens in a dental
check-up?
The first appointment is very relaxed as the
patient mainly gets acquainted with the dentist and the tools. The
paediatric dentist will review your child's medical and dental history.
He will gently examine your child's teeth, oral tissues, and jaws.
The teeth will be cleaned and polished, followed by the application
of a fluoride solution.
Your pediatric dentist will talk to you
about dental health, and also to your child with easily understandable
words, pictures, and ideas. Your child will be motivated to take
responsibility for healthy smile.
The pedodentist is qualified to deal even with
difficult children. All staff choose to work in a pediatric dentistry
practice because they have patience and love for children.
